While the iron heats, you are ready to style. - Hold plates firmly closed with hair section in between, sliding the iron down and off the section of hair. - Do not hold the hair between the clamping plates for more than 2 - 5 seconds (depending on hair thickness). - Upon completion, press and hold the On/Off button to turn off. - Unplug the cord and allow the unit to cool down completely before storing.
CLEANING - Before cleaning your styling iron, always unplug the appliance from the power source and allow it to completely cool down. - It is recommended that wiping the appliance down using a damp, soft cloth. - Do not use harsh detergents, abrasives, solvents, or chemical cleaners if you start to get product build up. - Never immerse the appliance in water to clean.
